At Websnare, our goal is to make the design process as smooth and uncomplicated as possible.


Our initial conversation is usually when we ascertain the basics:

What are you hoping to accomplish?

What is your style?

What is the best combination of the products and services we offer for your project?

Phase I

Scope
After this brief interview, we will put together a WORKING PROPOSAL outlining the scope of the project. The proposal will be a detailed description of what you can expect from Websnare. You will also be given a WORKING ESTIMATE for the project listing our fees and costs associated with the work.

If what you see in the WORKING PROPOSAL is acceptable then you can simply sign the proposal and it will become our contract for your project.

If, on the other hand, you would like to make changes, then we will work up your proposal as necessary until we have a plan for your project that you find agreeable.

Payment
Your initial payment of %50 of the estimate for the project will reserve you a place in our design schedule.

Content
The next step is to gather content. Our designers have come up with some simple guidelines for what constitutes “usable content.” Send us your text, graphics and photos within those guidelines and we will begin work on your project immediately. If your content will require some manipulation or editing before it can be used in the work, we are happy to oblige for a nominal charge.

Phase II


Once we have received your content we will begin the Design process.

As soon as the prototype is developed we will send it to you for feedback. This is where your input is critical to the overall process. We will eagerly await your reaction and will incorporate any changes within the scope of the project. This is the First Revision.

You will now have an opportunity for Final Revisions. We will make any of those changes within the scope of the project and send you a Proof.

At this point, if we are building a Website for you, we will begin our beta testing. This is where we test the overall functionality of the site and work out any bugs in the code. This is the final step in Phase II.

You will now be invoiced for payment of Phase II of your project. Upon receipt of this payment we will then launch your website, send your proof to the printer or trigger your email newsletter mailing, depending on what we’ve been working on for you.

Phase III

A week after we finish your project we will follow up to make sure you are satisfied and happy with the work. This is also when we can handle any changes or additions that might have been out of the scope of the original Proposal. We will simply work up a new Estimate based on just those items and then make the changes. We always reserve time in the Design schedule for this reason, so that our “In Process” clients won’t have to wait for another project time slot to open up.

Every few weeks thereafter you can expect a call from Websnare. If you are ready to add pages to your website, develop your brochure or launch a new email campaign we can roll out Phase III or begin an entirely new project to accomplish your goals.

For website clients you may wish to enroll in one of our Maintenance programs so that your site will have regularly scheduled check ups and will always have a fresh look.
